Gold Rush cocktail was invented by Jamie Torrell, brand ambassador for Hendrick’s gin in Australia. Naturally, the main ingredient of the new cocktail is fresh mango growing in Queensland, the hot and sunny state of Australia. Combined with bright notes of elderberry, it gives the new Hendrick’s Gin an unusual taste. The advent of the new cocktail is dedicated to Australia Day – this is an annual national holiday, which is celebrated in the country on a large scale. Its name is very reminiscent of the discovery of the Queensland Gold Deposit, which significantly influenced the appearance of the former British colony at the end of the 19th century.
Gold Rush Cocktail
- 30 ml Gin
- 100 gm Ripe mango
- 50 ml Freshly Brewed Mango Tea
- 15 ml Elderberry liquor
- Put all the ingredients of the cocktail into a shaker, shake thoroughly, and then strain. Serve with ice in a suitable glass or in a tea cup. You can decorate a cocktail with a slice of cucumber.
This new cocktail "Gold Rush Tea" is a perfect way to celebrate the arrival of spring.
