Gin Sour is a classic cocktail that is not only quick to prepare, but also always tastes good. It is a simple mixture of lemon juice, sugar syrup and gin. In this cocktail we add a twist to gin sour by adding rosemary.
One way is to flavor the sugar syrup with rosemary and lemon zest to make this cocktail unforgettable. If you are short of time, the shorter alternative is to simply muddle a sprig of rosemary into the cocktail. Either way, the drink is a true delight, summer or not!
You can easily make a rosemary gin fizz out of this recipe by adding more soda water. That essentially makes the cocktail lighter and more refreshing, but the intense flavors become diluted. If rosemary is your thing, take a look at the rosemary related cocktails we have collected.
