Vodka Rosemary Collins – An Easy Vodka Sour Recipe

Vodka Rosemary Collins is an easy to make refreshing long drink that uses simple ingredients such as vodka, rosemary sugar syrup and soda. We have all heard of gin fizz. Substitute gin with vodka in this drink, and you end up with a regular Vodka Collins.

If you want a rosemary flavored concoction, then infuse your simple syrup with rosemary and use that in this cocktail. It is as simple as that!

Vodka Rosemary Collins is an easy to make refreshing long drink that uses simple ingredients such as vodka, rosemary sugar syrup and soda.

Ingredients

  • 45 ml vodka
  • 30 ml fresh lemon juice
  • 15 ml rosemary simple syrup
  • Soda or sparkling water
  • Ice cubes

Instructions

  • Pour the vodka, lemon juice and sugar syrup in a highball glass.
  • Top up with ice cubes.
  • Add soda according to your taste and give it a slight stir with a bar spoon.
  • Garnish with a lemon wheel and serve.

Notes

To prepare rosemary infused simple syrup, take equal parts water and sugar and bring the mixture to a boil until sugar has dissolved completely. Take off the heat and steep a few rosemary sprigs in this hot syrup for about 30 minutes. Store the mixture in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.
